You will own and drive complete solutions that ultimately improve the quality of the Netflix viewing and gaming experience. As a network reliability engineer on our team, you will Develop and operate automation solutions that address AWS network infrastructure challenges while driving improvements in areas of availability, efficiency, observability, performance, and security Analyze complex systems from a reliability and resilience perspective to ensure that our hybrid cloud network architecture can scale to our business needs Develop solutions to abstract and simplify AWS network complexity on behalf of our developers Drive incidents to resolution by collaborating with multiple engineering teams Partner with Netflix engineering teams to better understand their challenges to collaboratively deliver solutions and evangelize the best practices Partner with other product managers to create cohesive strategies and roadmaps across organizational boundaries Engage deeply with external communities to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations We will love to speak with you if you're someone with Passion and demonstrated experience in continuously improving the reliability and operational automation of complex, multi-tier systems Success in navigating ambiguity, working across different disciplines and teams while applying a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to problem solve without perfect metrics Expertise in designing, and developing scalable APIs and services Expertise with Go, Python, or C+
programming Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine) Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Good understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and network-related protocols Strategic thinker that can relate technology solutions to customer use cases 10

Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
DevOps & Site ReliabilityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
