The Backend Node Engineer designs all the server-side logic that delivers our analytics and insights to our customers in a beautiful, dynamic package. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own our backend web application using NodeJS and JavaScript to produce valuable consumer insights Use JavaScript to tune our advanced web scraping, big data, and analytics tools to customer specifications Write JavaScript code to improve queries, performance, and visualization Maintain web applications in HTML, HTTP, CSS, XML, and xpath Work with front end engineers to integrate services Develop libraries for extensible development and reuse Create unit tests and debug services Job Requirements REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of backend development experience 3+ years of JavaScript development experience 2+ years of experience building enterprise applications in NodeJS Experience or passion for startups and technology Strong communication and problem solving skills BONUS: Passion or experience with Big Data analytics Lean startup experience Experience deploying to a 100% cloud hosted infrastructure (AWS) Experience with web scraping or machine learning PERKS: Great benefits, great team, top of the market technology, and a huge market to grow in! Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
