Senior UI Engineer - Production Workflows Engineering

About UsThe Production Workflows Engineering team is part of the larger Content Engineering team. We build and maintain the web applications that manage the workflow of Netflix's Original Content production. Our team's goal is to build applications that keep shows progressing through the entire process of their creation. We work closely with production and post production users to best understand how to make their work easier. You are a continuous learner who collaborates well with users, partners, teammates, and willingly seeks help. You show initiative and pragmatism in your creation of quality user experiences that deliver business value. You enjoy building component-based UIs and reusable components You enjoy web development, working with the DOM and CSS, learning new APIs, and discovering creative ways to improve our user experiences. You leverage tools that promote modular and component-based architectures, such as Ember, React, and Vue. You are able to read and write tests, hold pragmatic code coverage in high regard, and can explore and propose ways to incrementally improve code quality. You have a curiosity on how great TV and movie content is produced and want to be involved in building applications for this process.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
