Technical Project Manager

Description The Technical Project Manager at Xperi will play a key role in driving end-to-end software development for our audio software solutions. This role requires a highly motivated leader to lead multidisciplinary projects through the entire project lifecycle. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, proven organizational and project management abilities. The candidate is responsible for the planning, tracking, coordination, and successful completion of projects, while remaining aligned with commitments and goals of the organization. Ideally, the candidate will combine a passion for building new software products, with a broad commercial knowledge. A strong technical foundation in DSP and audio software products will be highly desired. Essential Functions and Responsibilities       Work with cross-functional teams to develop project scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables based on agreed technical requirements and roadmap Manage resources and project schedules efficiently Monitor and communicate progress to stakeholders effectively Gather and create technical requirements and specifications Implement and manage change requests when necessary Must be able to manage issues and risks effectively Reporting and documentation Provide technical leadership, but not line management of cross functional teams Required Education and Experience    BS or BA in Audio Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree 5+ years of project management experience, providing elevated level support of project completion and deliverables 5+ years of Agile Project Management experience, Kanban, Scrum, or Lean preferred Track record of working with distributed and cross-functional teams Track record of delivering projects with multiple stakeholders, complex deliverables and strict timelines In-depth understanding of software development cycle Must have product or project management experience in a technical arena; Audio Signal Processing will be highly preferred   Computer Skills:  In-depth knowledge of project planning tools, MS Project, SmartSheet In-depth knowledge of issues tracking tool such as JIRA  Experienced in version control system such as Git   Other Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Agile Certified Scrum Master or other Agile Project Management Certification Strong teamwork and project-related skills Demonstrated ability to multi-task

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
